Yes. VG·Sign is compliant with PIPEDA, the Electronic Commerce Act (Ontario), and Canada's federal PIPEDA legislation. Every envelope produces a tamper-evident audit trail and a court-admissible certificate of completion.
Absolutely. Recipients get a unique, unguessable signing link via email. They open it, identify themselves, sign, and you get a webhook back. Zero sign-up friction.
Any document. Upload a PDF, a Word file (.docx), or an image/scan (PNG, JPEG, TIFF, WebP, HEIC) and VG·Sign prepares it for signing. You place signature, initial, date, text and checkbox fields yourself in the editor. You can also include supporting attachments — disclosures, ID, exhibits — that recipients can view and download but aren’t asked to sign.
REST + JSON with per-workspace bearer-token authentication. POST an envelope, place fields via JSON, send. Subscribe to webhook events (sent, viewed, signed, completed) to sync state back to your CRM. SDKs available in TypeScript, Python, and Go.
After the PIPEDA-mandated 7-year retention period, we notify you. You choose: extend retention, export the complete archive (ZIP with signed PDFs + audit logs), or let us securely purge. You're in control.
